Pass both the International and Colorado Exams. Hold a B. Once you have been granted certification from the Colorado CCA Board, you will receive a certificate for framing and a wallet card.
In order to maintain your certification, you will need to pay an annual maintenance fee and earn 40 hours of Continuing Education Units CEUs every two years. For example, a farmer who has farmed for 20 years and a farmer who farmed for one year can both only receive up to one year of CCA experience. When filling out the Crop Advising Experience Form, be sure to provide enough detail to aid the CCA board in determining whether you have the necessary experience. The board may return your application if more information is needed. Resubmit as directed. If you do not have a degree, you will only need to complete the Crop Advising Experience and Reference forms.

It's not a hard test. I gave it up because it really doesn't mean anything. Sounds like there is not to much to worry about. I'm just tired of studying and worrying about it. Ready for it to be over! One other question, how many distractors are there - 4 or 5? I spent the majority of my time working with the national study guide from the International Plant Nutrition Institute. If you can answer all of the practice questions in the book you will have no problem on the national test. I just can't remember enough of the tricky questions from way back in Feb. When the scores are reported they give you a percentage of correct answers for each test and then they divide each test into four areas soils, fert.
I had a 4 in all areas on the national and all 4's but one on the state and the other was a 3 so I guess the 79 was decent. Feel free to send me a PM if you have questions.
